NorthLock One Hardware Warranty

Important: This page contains a summary only. The full binding warranty terms are set out in your Order Form, Master Terms of Sale, and the separate Warranty Terms document provided with your quote or upon request. Who provides the warranty

NorthLock is the seller of record. Your warranty is with NorthLock. Component manufacturers (e.g. NVIDIA) and our assembly partner provide warranties to us; you deal only with NorthLock.

Coverage — 3 years parts + labor

  • Duration: Three (3) years from delivery.
  • Service model: Depot swap (years 1–2): we ship a replacement unit; you return the faulty unit. Year 3: depot/mail-in repair.
  • Support SLA: Business-hours acknowledgement and RMA issuance within one (1) business day.
  • Remedy: Repair or replace at our discretion. If we cannot repair or replace within a reasonable time, we may refund.
  • Covered: Defects in materials and workmanship for all pre-installed components, including the GPU. Parts and labor included.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Physical or liquid damage, or damage from unauthorized opening or modification
  • Misuse, power surges, environmental damage
  • Cosmetic damage or consumables
  • Damage caused by third-party software, malware, or your own data practices

Data on returned units (critical for law firms)

  • You are responsible for backing up all data before shipping any unit for service.
  • Upon receipt we will either securely wipe drives or, at your written request and at your sole risk, return the unit with data intact.
  • NorthLock is not liable for data left on units returned at your request.
  • Only authorized personnel access drives during diagnosis/repair.

Short form warranty statement

NorthLock warrants to the original business purchaser that the NorthLock One Appliance will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for three (3) years from delivery. If a defect occurs, NorthLock will, at its option, repair or replace the defective part or unit. This warranty does not cover physical damage, unauthorized modification, misuse, or other exclusions listed in the full terms. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR HARDWARE DEFECTS.
